eLearning Example: Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse at Work

Project Overview

Zombies are seeking healthy human brains at home and in cube farms. Purchase a Zomb-B-Gone Shelter for protection during your 40-hour work week to stay safe from the undead while you’re getting paid. Pick your shelter’s location carefully and stock it for long-term survival while preparing for face-to-face zombie combat. To further boost your chances of survival, build your weapons cache to protect yourself while defending your route through the cubes to your underground Zom-B-Gone Shelter. Fight the undead with practice in these interactions:

  • Reveal tips and tricks about office dynamics via hidden hotspots on an office map used to find the best place to locate an underground shelter

  • Manage your $1000 supply budget by shopping for food and other supplies. As you make your selections, a number variable tracks your total available funds and the amount you place in your cart

  • Evaluate your work space using hotspots and layers to determine the best weapons at hand for a zombie attack

  • Navigate the office map using motion paths and a star icon to beat the zombies to your shelter entrance (and grab some weapons along the way to stave them off!)
